We Will be making Gel Text as in my examples:
Font I used: Black Chancery
Inner Bevel Preset: Download Zip of all of my Inner Bevel Presets
Place presets in your PSP 8 Presets Folder
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) open new image any size (i used 500 x 500 transparent)
2) select text tool
3) select a font, a nice thick one sized largely 24 - 72 pt) - Vector
ForeGround a Medium to Dark color, Background a medium to light color *make sure its a few shades lighter than the background*
apply text
4)apply a image effects Inner Bevel preset: Laura_BevelSilky
make sure your color is a very
light shade in the same hue as your text colors
apply the bevel
5) add a image effects drop shadow:
6)Merge Visible
7) Lower layer opacity to between 60 and 80 *your preference*
Finally..
use the selection tool to
select your text and crop if you need to!
8) merge layers and place in seperate layer over another image or Merge layers and save, or merge visible and export as transparent gif or png however you want to save.
